Accommodation
The UIB cannot guarantee accommodation for exchange students. Therefore, students must take responsibility for finding and booking their own accommodation, and they are advised to do so at the earliest possible date, since Palma is a popular destination where flat and house renting is concerned. Below are some accommodation options:
UIB Hall of Residence
The UIB Hall of Residence offers exchange students a special fee during the first week of their stay. This is a convenient solution while you are looking for a flat to share with other students in Palma. Places must be booked at the residence: residencia@uib.es.
More information at: https://residenciauib.es/
Flat-sharing
Exchange students often choose to rent a room in a flat shared with other students in Palma. If this is your preference, make sure you check out our notice board, where you will find rooms available and wanted, at https://www.uib.cat/taulers/habitatge/. This information is updated on a weekly basis.

Housing Counselling Programme:
We offer you legal advice on housing: buying and selling (drafting of reservation agreements, clarification of mortgage-related concepts, explanation of the most common subsidies available, house searching assistance, practical advice...), renting (drafting of contracts, rights and obligations of the parties, rental subsidies, etc.), flat sharing (useful advice and frequent problems, among others), etc.
If you wish to get in touch, send your name, phone number, e-mail address and the reason for your query to legalconsulta@palma.es.
