Responsibilities and Goals

The International Relations Office (SRI) reports directly to the Office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Internationalisation. It promotes and manages mobility for the university community to other higher education institutions through collaboration agreements. In addition, it fosters the UIB's international relations by managing and monitoring specific projects and agreements.

The International Relations Office promotes programmes and activities with a view to enhancing the UIB's outreach and international prominence, and contributing to internationalisation. This should be understood as a cross-cutting phenomenon permeating all UIB activities and involving all members of the university community.
