General Information

Within the framework of its external relations and internationalisation policy, the UIB fosters the signing of framework collaboration agreements with other universities that cover mutual interests and promote collaboration. The general aim of these agreements is usually to establish exchange and cooperation activities in the field of teaching and research.

In order to provide substance to these agreements and promote collaboration activities, the UIB offers grants to foster visits by UIB lecturers to other universities or research centres, as well as welcoming lecturers from other universities or research centres to the UIB.

In this sense, the programme aims to fund activities undertaken within the framework of agreements signed by the UIB, as well as preparatory activities for any new agreements.

As applications require review by the Commission, they must include the documents set out in article seven of the regulations and be submitted to the UIB General Registry at the latest three months before travel and/or the stay. In any event, the documents must be submitted before undertaking the activity.
