What is it?
The International Relations Offices is offering 21 grants to fund staff teaching trips (STA), training trips (STT) and teaching/training trips (STA/STT) as part of the ERASMUS+ Partner Countries KA107 Programme.
The grants are provided to cover part of the travel and board expenses whilst teaching or training at universities in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Russian Federation, Morocco and Tunisia. At most, only one grant per country may be requested.
In order to apply for ERASMUS+ Partner Countries KA107 mobility, candidates must fill in an online application and send the documents set out below via e-mail.
General Information
Requirements
The following requirements must be met to apply for an ERASMUS+ Partner Countries KA107 place:
- Be employed by the UIB at the time of application and during the mobility period
- Be affiliated with one of the departments or services, and/or teach classes on programmes as set out in appendix I. Priority will be given to lecturers teaching on programmes that are part of the project
- Admin and services staff must have been employed for at least two years from the last day of the call deadline
- Submission of a mobility agreement for teaching staff or training approved by the home and host university, specifying a commitment to teach at least eight hours of class for STA mobility stays during the five days of the visit, or four teaching hours with four training hours for STA/STT mobility visits.
Length of the Teaching or Training Stay
The teaching or training stay lasts for five days. These five days should preferably be done in a single visit. Teaching activities must last for eight weekly class hours, as a minimum; applicants may also combine four teaching and four training hours.
Non-teaching days and weekends are not included in the calculation stated in the previous paragraph.
Full teaching or training days must be specified in the final mobility agreement and the certificate of stay.
Grants
The European Commission offers grants to help cover travel and board expenses during your stay, as follows:
A) Travel bursary - A contribution to travel expenses based on the distance between the UIB and the host university in the partner country where the activity will take place. Amount: €275 (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tunisia, Morocco), €530 (Russian Federation) per participant.
B) Individual per diem - €180 per day of the stay (five working days + a maximum of two days of travel).

Applying for a Place
Place Application Procedure
- Fill in the online application form in the following section: current calls.
- After filling in the application form, the documents listed below must be sent to the following e-mail: erasmuska107@uib.es.
- A photocopy of your ID (DNI/NIE)
- A certificate accrediting the required language level at the host university (the required level is listed in Appendix II to the call)
- A certificate issued by your home university stating that you are a lecturer/researcher or an admin/services staff member (with the required term of service)
- Proposed mobility agreement to be undertaken at the host university.
Each section must be carefully filled in, specifying the time for activities to be undertaken. The proposal must be duly signed by your home and destination university when you submit your application.
