International Doctorate Mention
The International Doctorate Mention provides high added value to a PhD diploma. Generally speaking, a PhD candidate can apply for an International Doctorate Mention if:
- they have benefited form at least a 3-month research sojourn abroad (of which documentary proof will be provided);
- their PhD thesis has been written at least partly in a language other than any of the official languages in Spain;
- reports haven been written on their thesis by at least two reviewers who must be PhD holders and have foreign affiliations;
- there is at least one member of the thesis examining board with a foreign affiliation.
